Sophia Smith is a world-class forward with endless potential. This young lady began playing football at the age of four as a forward. She soon discovered that football was her true love, despite also playing basketball, volleyball, and running track. Ms Smith competed for Real Colorado and completed her youth football career with them. Deciding to go to Stanford for uni, this young woman played collegiate football for the Stanford Cardinal women’s soccer team in 2018-19. She made 33 appearances for them and scored 24 goals. Upon entering the 2020 NWSL Draft, she was selected as the #1 overall player by the Portland Thorns FC. Sophia Smith has remained with them since.
