Biography
Vivianne Miedema plays forward for Arsenal in the FA Women’s Super League (FA WSL) and the Netherlands national team. She was a prolific goalscorer when she was a child and played on guys’ teams. HZVV was Vivianne’s first pro club. She joined them as a teenager before moving to VV De Weide in 2009 after several years with HZVV. Vivianne Miedema stayed with them until 2011. In 2011, Vivianne accepted an offer from SC Heerenveen and signed her first professional contract. On September 2, 2011, she made her senior debut against FC Utrecht when she was 15 years old. She stayed with the Dutch team until 2014 when she joined Bayern Munich. After 78 games and 52 goals with the Munich based club, Vivianne Miedema moved to Arsenal in 2017. She’s stayed with them ever since.
