Biography
Born on March 17, 1992, in Long Beach, California, this American started playing golf when he was just three years old. Whilst unlike the few of us who have played with a plastic club, this young man decided that he wanted to pursue this sport to the fullest. He made it clear when he won the 2010 California High School State Championship. Attending UCLA, he won the Fred Haskins Award in 2011 and followed that up with the Mark H. McCormack Medal and the Jack Nicklaus Award that year. He was a truly outstanding amateur and was even named the Pac-10 Conference Player of the Year in 2011. The following year, this golfer decided to go professional and joined the Korn Ferry Tour.
Winning the Colombia Championship in 2013 was the highlight of his career here. The youngster joined the PGA Tour in 2014 and recorded his first win, the Shriners Hospitals for Children Open, in the 2017-18 season. He has followed that up with six other victories. In addition to the Korn Ferry Tour and the PGA Tour, this youngster has also participated in the PGA European Tour. Although he couldn’t replicate the success of his amateur career yet, this world number 3 knows that he still has it in him to achieve what he wants to.
