Biography
This fighter was born on the 19th of July 1987 in Rochester, New York, the United States. At Union-Endicott High School in upstate New York, he excelled as a wrestler in high school and won the state championship. It was at high school he got his nickname too. Upon deciding to focus on fighting, this young man dropped out of college and began his career. He debuted as an MMA pro in April 2008 and went 6-0 in just three months. UFC noticed his meteoric rise and quickly signed him up to their label.
He earned his debut in the Ultimate Fighting Championship against Andre Gusmão on August 9, 2008. An innovative and dynamic fighter, this American is one of the most unorthodox fighters to ever step into the octagon.
