Biography
The Eagle is one of the most humble and respected fighters to have ever stepped into the Octagon. This man was born on the 20th of September 1988 in Sildi, the Republic of Dagestan, Russia. As someone who was born into a martial arts family, he began training at a very young age. His father taught him the nuances of combat sports, and he excelled in training. After struggling with anger issues which led him to get into street fights, this young man decided that he had to be disciplined to make sure that he didn’t let his talents go to waste.
The Eagle began focusing on becoming a professional fighter and began to take his training seriously. He debuted as a professional in September 2008. This young man’s talent saw him receive a call from the UFC too. He signed with them in late 2011 and made his debut on 20 January 2012 at UFC on FX 1 against Kamal Shalorus. With a 29-0-0 (W-L-D) in the UFC, this Russian has cemented his place in the annals of MMA as one of the greats to have stepped into the octagon.
