Bio

Born on June 22, 1987, in North Babylon, New York, this shooting guard and small forward played college basketball at the University of North Carolina. Many of his siblings and cousins also play either university or NBA basketball. In his senior season at the UNC, he helped his team to win the NCAA title in 2009. One of four players in ACC history with 100 blocked shots and 100 three-point field goals, he has been UNC's defensive player of the game 15 times. Drafted by the Cleveland Cavaliers in the 2009 NBA draft as the 46th overall pick, he played in just 20 games for them as a rookie before being waived by the team. Signed by the Spurs in November 2010, he had his difficulties before rising to stardom and winning the NBA finals with them in 2014. The shooting guard was traded to Toronto Raptors in 2018 and helped them win the title, his second overall. The Slovenian Cup Champion of 2011, he played for the Lakers in the 2019-20 season, won the title and moved to the Philly based 76ers in November that year. Throughout his rich and experienced NBA career, he has shown versatile skills in the game both in the offensive and defensive part of plays.
