As a little boy of 6 years, this young man was already playing basketball in a league of ten-year-olds. His Jamaican father didn’t hesitate to put him through different basketball drills and exercises, and even Kung Fu and meditation. With an excellent high school career, this young man chose to play college basketball for the University of Kentucky. As a freshman, he was already on the top lists. He performed with great averages and entered some of the honour team selections in no time. He made the SEC All-Freshman team in 2016. This athlete played just one season of college basketball with the Kentucky Wildcats before choosing to enter the 2016 NBA draft. This guard was drafted by the Denver Nuggets as the 7th overall pick in Round 1. In the same year, he started to prove his worth to everyone around him. He was selected in the NBA All-Rookie second team for his performances. This point guard is Canadian and represents the national team of Canada in various international tournaments. Though still young, his performance as a Nuggets player has been excellent. He has enjoyed his time with the franchise, and we think that this bloke is here for the long haul.
