Bio

This hippie-looking power forward who also plays as a center is a Canadian national. A laid back player, his outside scoring catches his opponents off-guard. Born in Toronto, Ontario, in 1991, the young man went to South Kamloops in Kamloops, British Columbia, for his higher education. Deciding to remain in Canada, he chose Gonzaga University for his college career. Although he redshirted the 2011-12 season, his final season for his college was one of the best seasons he had ever had. The young man averaged 7.3 RPG, 1.7 APG, 0.7 SPG, 1.1 BPG, and 17.8 PPG in 2012-13. Becoming eligible for the 2013 Draft, he was selected by the Dallas Mavericks as the 13th overall pick in Round 1. Traded for the rights to Lucas Nogueira and two future second-round picks to the Celtics, he was with them until 2017. The NBA All-Rookie Second Teamer in 2014 signed a multi-million dollar deal with the Miami Heat in July 2017 and has remained there since. He had a good run when he helped the Heat reach the 2020 NBA Finals but lost to the Lakers. The Canadian will look to have another go at the title this upcoming season too.
