Bio

He is a well-known professional basketball player that is currently playing for the Brooklyn Nets. He started his college career with the University of Texas at Austin in the 2006-07 season. He helped his team, the Texas Longhorns finish the year with a 25-10 overall record. Because of his excellent play, he won the John R. Wooden Award unanimously. The forward ended the year with numerous other honours and awards. After just one season of college ball, he decided to declare for the NBA draft. Selected by the Seattle Supersonics in Round 1 as the second overall player, he remained with them until the end of the 2015-16 season. Announcing his desire to sign with the Warriors on the 4th of July 2016, he made the move official three days later. The young man won two NBA titles with GSW before signalling his intentions to move to the Nets. The move was made official in July 2019. He has been with them since. A two-time NBA Finals MVP, this player has also won the FIBA World Cup with his country. He is also a two-time Olympic gold medallist and has made it to the NBA All-Star team a total of eleven times.
