The centre forward is the son of former NBA player Stan Love. He played basketball from very early on and is known for his three-point shot and tough rebounding. Attending the UCLA Bruins program, he trained under the mentorship of Hall of Famer Bill Walton. After just one college basketball season with them, he became the leading player of his team and was named a consensus First Team All-American (2008). He was also won the Pac-10 Player Of The Year in that year. Deciding to enter the NBA draft in 2008, he was selected as the 5th overall pick by the Memphis Grizzlies before being traded to the Minnesota Timberwolves the same night. K-Love had an outstanding performance as a rookie for the Timberwolves and led the league in offensive rebound percentage. He became the first rookie to lead the league since the great Hakeem Olajuwon. During the 2010/2011 season with the Minnesota Timberwolves, the American power forward established the longest streak of double figures in points and rebounds in consecutive NBA games. The same season he was declared NBA’s most improved player. In 2014 he was traded to the Cleveland Cavaliers. In 2016 he played the famous final series and led his team to an astounding comeback after a 3-1 deficit against The Golden State Warriors. He helped King James win the Championship and bring the title to Cleveland. This five-time NBA All-Star player has had an outstanding career so far. He has shown that he is vulnerable too by coming out to the media and fans about his panic attack problems.
