The player was born on August 12, 1991, in Charleston, South Carolina. In his high school career, this shooting guard / small forward was named South Carolina Player of the Year. He achieved this feat in both his junior and senior years. As a player prospect, he wasn’t ranked very high, but it was noted that he is the best shooter in this position. He chose Texas A&M University to play college basketball and liked the college town atmosphere. In his freshman year, he was a starter at a majority of the games and led the Aggies in scoring. He played three years of college basketball for his university and finally decided to enter the NBA draft. The player was selected as the 39th overall pick by the Detroit Pistons in the 2012 edition of the draft. In 2013 he was traded to the Milwaukee Bucks, where he remains to this date. By the end of the 2018-19 season, the player signed a 5-year contract extension with the franchise. The same year he had his first NBA All-Star selection. Standing at 6ft 7in, this player is a two-time NBA All-Star and has a cousin who has played in the league too.
