The young man studied at the Edward S. Marcus High School in Flower Mound, Texas, his hometown. An avid tennis fan, he was listed as the No. 1 shooting guard and the No. 10 player in the nation in 2012. This two time NBA All-Defensive First Teamer played for Oklahoma State between 2012 and 2014. Selected by the Celtics in Round 1 of the 2014 Draft as the 6th overall pick, he amassed 142 points in the voting process and made it to the NBA's All-Rookie Second Team. Considered to be the heart and soul of the team, this player propels his team and is a commander on the court. It's exciting to watch him play.
