Bio

La Pistola is a Spanish Basketball sensation who currently plays for the Minnesota Timberwolves in the NBA. Born on the 21st of October, 1990, in El Masnou, Spain, he became the youngest player ever to play in the Spanish ACB League at just 14 years of age. Not only that, he debuted in EuroLeague in 2006, when he turned 16, and this made him the first player born in the 1990s to play in a EuroLeague game. It was only natural that he was headed to the NBA. This guard's historic moment came in 2009 when he was drafted as the fifth overall player in the first round of that year's NBA draft by the Timberwolves. However, due to ongoing contract issues, he didn't debut for the Minnesota based team till 2011. He spent his time with FC Barcelona until then. Making it to the NBA All-Rookie First team in 2012, this 2010 EuroLeague champion has had his work cut out for him in the league. Things haven't gone to plan for this Spanish sensation. He was exchanged to the Jazz in June 2017, and two years later, he signed with the Phoenix Suns. He returned to Minnesota after being traded in November 2020. We're waiting to see if this player will ever reach the heights he is capable of.
