Born in Kraków, Poland on 12 June, 1996, Buk's nomadic youth career took him around numerous academies including: Wisła Kraków, Hutnik Kraków, Garbarnia Kraków, and Novara. In July 25th, 2014, the Pole began his professional career, making his debut for Lechia Gdańsk. He played for two other Ekstraklasa clubs between then and 2020, Zagłębie Lubin and Pogoń Szczecin. In 2020 he moved to the United States of America to sign for Boston based MLS franchise New England Revolution. During his second season at the club the striker scored 16 times in 31 games.
