Player Bio
B-Craw, a shortstop for the San Francisco Giants of Major League Baseball, was born on January 21, 1987, in Mountain View, California. He was a three-sport athlete at Pleasanton's Foothill High School, where he excelled in football, basketball, and baseball. Prior to college, he played with the Mankato MoonDogs in the Northwoods League in 2005. This Los Angeles native studied at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). From 2006 to 2008, he was a member of the UCLA Bruins baseball team. B-Craw also played for the Cape Cod Baseball League's Orleans Cardinals. A four-time Gold Glove Award winner, this young man decided to make himself available for the MLB Draft in 2008. The Giants, the team he grew up supporting, selected him in the fourth round and as the 117th overall pick. In 2009, B-Craw made his professional debut with the Class-A Advanced San Jose Giants. He's also played for the Richmond Flying Squirrels and the Double-A Connecticut Defenders. A two-time World Series champion, B-Craw, made his debut in Major League Baseball on May 27, 2011, against the Milwaukee Brewers. He has made numerous appearances for the Giants since then and has achieved a lot over the years.
