Player Bio
Bamm-Bamm is a left-handed batter and right-handed pitcher who plays second base and outfield. In Major League Baseball, he plays for the Tampa Bay Rays. In the 2015 MLB draft, the Tampa Bay Rays selected this young man in the third round. The Bowling Green Hot Rods were his first pro team. The Class AAA International League's Charlotte Stone Crabs, Montgomery Biscuits, and Durham Bulls followed. On August 4, 2018, the Rays promoted this player to the major leagues. He made his debut one day later. On the 15th of August, Bamm-Bamm got his first big league hit. There has been no looking back for him since then. He signed an extension with the Tampa Bay Rays and has been performing at a consistent level throughout his career. Bamm-Bamm was born in Newport News, Virginia, on the 6th of July, 1994. He went to the Nansemond River High School in Suffolk, Virginia, and was a member of the baseball team there. He was quite phenomenal whilst there, especially in his senior year. This young man pursued further education from the University of Maryland and played college baseball for the Maryland Terrapins.
