He's the only Italian that we know who drives a Jaguar. Maybe it has something to do with his Canadian ancestry.

You'd think you've had your career sorted when you first played for AC Milan as a sixteen-year-old, but that hasn't been the case with our midfielder here. A player with an ironic nickname, considering how he was well built and stood at over 6 feet tall as a teenager, the next 7 or 8 years of his career would shape him as a player and as a person. His career has had a wild trajectory that has seen him play in 5 different clubs, including his present one. His most successful time as a player was whilst he was on loan at Atalanta. He has seen loan spells at Pescara and Palermo before that. Benfica was his parent club at the time. After Atalanta purchased him, he was loaned to AS Roma with a compulsory option to buy. This is a classic example of a football club exploiting the transfer market to its advantage. After all, you're a commodity at the end of the day. Everything turned out ok for this central midfielder, and he has now become fully integrated with his squad. For a player who began playing at amateur clubs as a young child, he has come a long way. Considered to be a fine young talent in his home country, he has played for them at every youth level and now plays for the senior squad.
