The English professional footballer was born in Leicester, England. He currently plays as a striker for Southampton, but he began his professional career at Oadby Town. He made his debut in the 2012-13 season and played 33 games in his first season - and he was only 16 years old by then. The following season he took up a scholarship with Ilketon's academy. He made his debut in October 2013 in the 3-2 away win over Stockbridge Park Steels. Sheffield United became aware of his qualities and picked him up in November 2014. They signed him in a two-year deal. He made his professional senior debut in December of the very same year against Southampton (1-0 victory). He replaced Jamal Campbell-Ryce at half-time and immediately showed off his potential with some great rushes. He soon became a revelation in the first team of Sheffield. He signed at Birmingham City in the summer of 2016 for a 2 Million Pound fee. In three seasons at the Blues he played over 110 games in which he scored 34 times. In the summer of 2019 he joined Southampton or a fee reported to be 15 Million Pound. He signed a long-term contract at the club for the following 5 years.
