Now we're sure coming from the royal family of football, Dani can drive any car he desires but the boy has remained humble and down to earth, and you're likely to come across him on foot or riding a bicycle rather than a fancy ride.

Born in Milan, Italy on October 11th, 2001, it would probably be more of a surprise if young Dani did not become a professional footballer given both his grandfather Cesare Maldini, and more notably his father, five-time UEFA Champions League winner, Paolo Maldini had played for and captained Serie A giants AC Milan. Dani followed in the footsteps of football royalty to join AC Milan’s youth academy at nine years old and 10 years later signed his first professional contract with I Rossoneri. On February 2nd, 2020, Dani would dawn the black and red of Milan for the first time to make his debut for his boyhood club in Serie A. He came on as a second half substitute to feature in a 1-1 draw against Hellas Verona. Early in his career Dani played in defence like his father Paolo but would later on transition to an attacking role that was more suited to his talents. On the international stage Dani has represented Italy in under-18 and under-19 level. Till now we have only caught a glimpse of the talented Italian midfielder and there is plenty of development still to be had, but if his father’s accolades are anything to go by then the Milan fans are in for a treat.
