DD enjoys driving around in his Mercedes. The comfort, the class, the luxury. The footballer has got a similar engine in him, bombing up and down the right flank tirelessly for ninety minutes. He is photographed while reporting for duty for the Netherlands.

The Dutch footballer is a physical specimen, combining his innate power, pace and strength, DD has established himself as one the world’s most fearsome wingbacks. Born in April 1996, in Rotterdam, Netherlands, he started his professional career in 2014 with local club Sparta Rotterdam in the Eerste Divisie. Quickly cementing himself as a first-team player he helped Sparta gain promotion to the Eredivisie during the 2016/17 campaign. His talents paved the way for moves to more established first-tier clubs with tenures at Heerenveen and PSV Eindhoven following suit. His performances for PSV, which included 36 goals and assists in 124 appearances, earned him a spot in the national team. His swashbuckling displays for the Oranje in the 2020 UEFA European Championships introduced him to a global audience. In the summer of 2021 the Dutchman moved to Italy to join Seria A club Internazionale to further develop his game as a defender. He made his debut in a 4-0 win over Genoa in the opening day of the league campaign.
