Hello WTFoot fans and welcome at the profile of Ezri Konsa: one of today's most promising defenders in the world of football. He started playing football at Senrab F.C., a club based at Wanstead Flats in the Forest Gate district of London. In 2009, at the age of twelve, he joined Charlton Athletic. He signed his first professional contract in December 2015. In the very same month he recieved his first call into the first team for the Championship game against Burnley. He stayed at the bench, but was close to making his official debut. He remained with the first squad but never was used in the 2015-16 season. His breakthrough came in the following season, in which he made his debut in the EFL Cup game against Cheltenham Town in August 2016. He became a regular in the first squad throughout the 2016-17 season and finished the year with 39 official appearances. The very same season he also showed his potential to play on the midfield. He signed a renewed three-year contract with Charlton Athletic in March 2017. In June 2018 he moved to the other side of London and joined the Championship club Brentford. He immediately became one of the regulars in the team and developed himself into one of the most promising young players of the Championship. His adventure at Brentford only took one season: in July 2019 he signed at the newly promoted Premier League club Aston Villa!
