A solid defensive midfielder who is good at tackling, this player is a better passer and an above-average shooter who likes to get involved in his team's plays from the back. At 5'11", he's not the most imposing of players, but his controlled aggression and long battery life help him along the way. Born in the Basque Country, he is a homegrown talent of Real Sociedad. Joining their academy aged eleven, he made his senior debut for La Real's B Team on the 29th of August 2015. Nearly a year later, the youngster registered his first-ever appearance for the Basque club when he came on as a substitute against Valencia. The Anchor became a full-time member of the squad from the beginning of the 2017-18 season. This disciplined player has since become an integral part of his team's plans. Choosing to represent Spain internationally, this young player is yet to make his senior debut for his nation. He has played for them in the U-18 and U-21 levels and even won the U-21 European Championship in 2019.
