He was born in 1989 and he is currently playing for Burnley in the English Premier League. He has already had a whole football life behind him. He has played for numerous clubs in England. He started his career at the youth academy of Chelsea. He was selected for the first team in 2006 but he actually never played any minutes for the first team of the Blues. He was loaned out on 6 different occasions (including Burnley) and he was finally bought by Southampton in 2011 without ever having played for Chelsea. At Southampton he really developed himself into a reliable Premier League player, somebody who managers can always depend on. After Southampton he joined Swansea City, a team that he stayed at for 3 years before he was finally bought by Burnley, his current club. He is usually one of the first names that managers think of when they create their starting eleven and that is no different at Burnley. He is always playing boatloads of matches and he never fails to impress. He actually also played international football. He played for the English National Team, The Three Lions.
