He owns this amazing black Porsche. He's a fast kid both off and on the pitch.

The Spanish attacking midfielder was born in A Pobra do Carmiñal, a city at the Spanish-Galician coastline. He started playing football in 2000 at the age of 9 at the local club Xuventud Aguiño. After 4 years he joined the youth academy of Celta de Vigo. He was 13 years old by then. A couple of years later, in 2011, he made his debut in the first team in the 1-1 draw against Barcelona B (Segunda División). He showed his potential but never managed to conquer a place in the first team. During the 2012-13 season he was sent on loan to Real Madrid Castilla, and in the following season he played on loan for Eibar. At Eibar he became rapidly one of the favourite players of the fans by scoring 11 goals in his first season. Celta de Vigo wanted to keep him, but after long talkes over a contract extension with Jota's father (who was his representative at the time) no agreement could be reached. He left Celta in the summer of 2014, after only five official games in the first team of Celta de Vigo. In August 2014 he signed a three-year deal at the English club Brentford, who were by then newly promoted to the Championship. He became a regular in the first team and won several awards such as being part of the Team of the Season. In the summer of 2017 he signed a four-year contract at Birmingham City for an undisclosed fee - but the rumours that he was the new all-time record signing of Birmingham were confirmed by the club. In the summer of 2019 he signed at the rivals Aston Villa, at whom he signed a two-year contract. It is his first club at the highest level: the Premier League!
