Born in Utrecht, Netherlands on June 17th, 2001, Tim started off his youth career at DSVU as a five year old before moving to Feyenoord where he spent six years developing as a youngster. In 2014 he joined AFC Ajax's academy to complete the later stages of his development. The defender made his professional debut for Ajax in a 3-1 win over SC Heerenveen. During the 2020/21 campaign the centre-back made 30 first-team appearances as de Godenzonen did the domestic double of Eredivisie and KNVB Cup. On the international stage he was a part of the Netherlands U17 team which won the 2017 UEFA European Championship.
