El Toro means The Bull, and we can see why this agile finisher from Bahía Blanca is called that. Beginning his career in his native town with Club Atlético Liniers, it was not long before he caught the eye of the bosses at Racing Club. His career would have taken an entirely different path had he signed for Real Madrid after the Spanish giants reached an agreement with Racing in 2015, but the striker decided against a move to Europe and stayed in Argentina instead. The fact that he was suffering from homesickness, at that time, could have been a deciding factor in his decision. He would go on to play for them until the end of the 2018 season. The big leap to A level European football came in the form of Inter Milan, who bought him for a fee in the region of 22.7 million Euros in 2018. It has not been a long time in Italy, but the man from Argentina became the first Inter player to have scored a goal in the Camp Nou, since Roberto Boninsegna in 1970. As an Argentinian player, he has represented his country in the U-20 World Cup, in 2017, and holds the distinction of being the first player to have been sent off using VAR. Since 2018, he has played with the senior side and even made it to the 2019 Copa America.
