The Dutchman's loan move from Sevilla to Barcelona was a dream come true! As far as his football aspirations are concerned, this is the zenith. Getting to drive around the marvellous city in Cupra's finest is just one of the many perks.

A striker feared for his aerial prowess as well as capable of linking play. Luukinho was born in Aigle, Switzerland in 1990, and honed his skills in the youth academy of Dutch club De Graafschap. He went through the ranks before eventually making it to the first-team - turning pro in 2008 - debuting against Breda. A year later he moved to Twente, and in the 2011/12 campaign showed the first glimpse of his scoring potential with 25 goals in 31 games. The following couple of years were largely unsuccessful with stints in Germany and England with Borussia Mönchengladbach and Newcastle United respectively. The Dutch forward returned to the Netherlands in 2014, signing for PSV Eindhoven. It was like the striker never left, over the next 5 years the Dutchman recorded 112 goals and 56 assists in 204 games, firing PSV to three Eredivisie titles between 2014-2018. The summer of 2019 saw Luukinho move to Spain to join Sevilla, which was followed by a move to FC Barcelona two years later.
