Ask opposition defenders or teammates who went up against in training and they'll all tell you about how Nico has left them in a trail of dust clouds. A player possessing great speed and acceleration, it's a wonder why the young man would need wheels to begin with!

Born in Escobar, Argentina, Nico joined the youth academy of Argentions Juniors when he was just seven-years of age. Over a decade later he made his debut for the senior team in the 2015/16 edition of the Copa Argentina. During the 2016/17 campaign he helped the club gain promotion from Primera B Nacional to the Argentina Primera División. His prodigious talents caught the eye of scouts from Europe, and in the summer of 2018 the winger would put pen to paper signing a five-year deal with Bundesliga club VfB Stuttgart. It was a topsy-turvy ride in Germany as Stuttgart were relegated in his first season but shot straight back up the following season, thanks in part to the Argentinians great form, scoring 14 goals and assisting a further 3 in 27 appearances. His hot form continued in to the German top-division the following term, earning him a call-up to Argentina’s 2021 Copa America squad. The rest is history as La Albiceleste lifted the trophy for the first time since 1993. Nico made a transfer to Italy in the summer of 2021 to join ACF Fiorentina. The winger scored made his debut in the Coppa Italia and netted as I Viola turned over Consenza 4-0.
