The Barça centre-back has been spotted driving to and fro training in a Citroen. Akin to pineapple as a pizza topping the French automobile company are known for their unique and often niche approach to manufacturing motor vehicles!

Born on March 7th, 1999, in Rivera, Uruguay, Jo's youth career spanned only 4 years between hometown club Huracán de Rivera and later Rentistas, with whom he would sign his first professional contract in 2016. Starting off in the Uruguayan Segunda División, the centre-back impressed quickly and earned a move to Uruguayan Primera División outfit Boston River in 2017. The following year, the opportunity to sign for European super club FC Barcelona presented itself. The Uruguayan defender put pen to paper on a five-year contract and made his debut for the Catalan giants over a year later in October 2019. He came off the bench to part-take in a 4-0 win over La Liga opposition Sevilla. The moment remains a bittersweet one as Jo was sent off late in the game for a rash challenge on Sevilla forward Javier Hernández. In the 2020/21 season Jo got his first taste of silverware as Barça won their 31st Copa del Rey.
