Hello there, dear WTFoot follower and perhaps even WTFoot fan. We are so very happy to have you here so we tell you all there is to know about this English goalie that is currently playing for Burnley in the English Premier League. He was born in 1986 and he first started to play football in the youth academy of Manchester United. He even made it to the first team of Manchester United in 2003 but he never managed to play any minutes for the Red Devils. He actually played for a whole lot of different teams while he was still under contract at United. He was loaned out on several occasions to team such as Swindon Town, Royal Antwerp, Queens Park Rangers and Wycombe Wanderers. Finally he was attracted by Burnley in 2013. He helped the team promote to the Premier League on two separate occasions, no small feat we may add. He has also played for the English national team on a few occasions. The Three Lions selected him for the first time in 2016. He was a part of the reserve list for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia, but he did not make the trip unfortunately. In the summer of 2019 he joined Aston Villa for an undisclosed fee.
