Player Bio
This young man is a Second Baseman and Outfielder for the Seattle Mariners of the Major League Baseball. He was born in Athens, Georgia, on December 14, 1991. He graduated in 2010 from Oconee County High School in Watkinsville, Georgia. He was a member of the baseball team in his high school and set numerous records with them. Fraz, a right-handed thrower, continued his baseball career with the Mississippi State Bulldogs of the Mississippi State University. The idea of becoming a professional was in the back of his mind all the time. It was this that pushed him to perform to his full potential and exceed his limits every time he stepped on the field. Fraz's dream came true when he was taken 179th overall in the sixth round of the 2013 MLB draft by the Pittsburgh Pirates. The left-handed batter made his pro debut in the minor leagues with the Jamestown Jammers of the Class A-Short Season New York–Penn League. Before making his MLB debut on June 24, 2016, he played for the Bradenton Marauders of the Class A-Advanced Florida State League, the Altoona Curve of the Class AA Eastern League, the Glendale Desert Dogs of the Arizona Fall League, and the Indianapolis Indians of the Class AAA International League. An All-Star, he remained there till July 2021, when he was sold to the Padres. In November that year, Fraz was traded to the Mariners.
