A superstar in the making: The 21-year old might be coveted by every team in European football but he's got a steady head on his shoulders and prefers to keep his feet on the ground. DV9 photographed getting on Fiorentina's bus to join his teammates before a Serie A fixture.

Born on January 28th, 2000, in Belgrade, Serbia, FR Yugoslavia, DV9’s youth career consisted primarily playing in age groups a couple of years older than his across the academies of Altina Zemun, OFK Beograd, Red Star Belgrade and FK Partizan. In 2014 he signed his first professional contract with Partizan and made sporadic appearances in the Serbian Superliga between then and 2018 before Italian Serie A club ACF Fiorentina signed the teenager to their ranks for only €1 million. During the 2019/20 season the Serbian forward began to etch out his place in the first team and had a modest goal return to boast, however, things would skyrocket the following season when the frontman scored 21 times in 37 Serie A games turning heads all over Europe. In 2021 he was voted Seria A’s “Best Young Player” and is was one of the most sought after youngsters in the game with a valuation over €70 million. During the winter transferwindow of season 21-22 he finally made the step - and to no other club than Juventus. They signed him in a €81.6 million deal.
