Crony is a Major League Baseball second baseman, shortstop, and first baseman for the San Diego Padres. He was born in St. Clair, Michigan, on January 21, 1994. This young man, who stands 6 feet tall, went to St. Clair High School in St. Clair, Michigan, and went on to play college baseball at the University of Michigan. He even played collegiate summer baseball with the Cape Cod Baseball League's Orleans Firebirds. Crony was drafted in the seventh round of the 2015 Major League Baseball draft by the Tampa Bay Rays. An All-Star, this young man's professional debut in the minor leagues came with the Hudson Valley Renegades. He has also played for the Bowling Green Hot Rods, the Charlotte Stone Crabs, the Montgomery Biscuits, and the Durham Bulls whilst with the Rays. Although he spent a lot of time with the Tampa Bay Rays, they didn't give him his MLB debut. Traded to the Padres in December 2019, this left-handed batter got his taste of the big leagues when the San Diego based team gave him his first chance in MLB. On July 26, 2020, this young man debuted against the Arizona Diamondbacks. He hasn't looked back since.
