He lives in a penthouse in Birmingham together with his love Norma and his child Jayden.

The Spanish full back began his career in his birthplace Vigo. He joined the youth academy of Celta and made his debut in the first team at the age of 18. It was in the 2-0 victory over CA Osasuna. Only a couple of weeks later he already convinced the board of Celta of his capabilities: he signed a renewed five-year contract until 2017. When Luis Enrique arrived at Celta at the start of the 2013-14 season he definitely promoted to the first team. He played for six years in the first team of Celta in which he played 221 games. Not bad, Jonny! In the summer of 2018 he joined Atlético Madrid for an undisclosed fee. He signed a six-year contract in Madrid. He never played a game in the red-white jersey of Atléti - they directly send him on loan to Wolverhampton Wanderers. He played his first BPL game against Everton (2-2 draw) on 11 August 2018. During the first half of the 2018-19 Premier League season he became a very important player of the Wolves. He signed a permanent four-and-a-half-year contract at the Molineux Stadium on 31 January 2019 for 15 Million Pound.
