Louie V is a first baseman for the San Diego Padres. This 6'3" athlete was born in Wildwood, Missouri, on February 13, 1991. Lafayette High School in Wildwood, Missouri, is the young man's alma mater. The young guy spent four years at Missouri State University, where he was a member of the Missouri State Bears baseball team. He even played collegiate summer baseball with the Cape Cod Baseball League's Harwich Mariners. Upon deciding to become a professional, this young man entered the MLB Draft in 2013. He was picked in the 22nd round of that year's draft by the St. Louis Cardinals. He began his professional career as a catcher for the State College Spikes of the New York-Penn League's Class A-Short Season. Following that, he spent time with the Class A-Advanced Florida State League's Palm Beach Cardinals, the Class AA Texas League's Springfield Cardinals, and the Class AAA Pacific Coast League's Memphis Redbirds. This right-handed player was given his MLB debut against the Pittsburgh Pirates on June 25, 2017. 2020's MLB home run leader, this young man was sold to the Yankees in 2018. At the end of the 2021 season, the New York-based team traded him to the Padres.
