The most noted player in the history of football, a beast on the field, and an incredible human off it, Mr. Cristiano Ronaldo, is the essence of hard work and dedication. His natural ability and his pursuit of goals, which only a few thought were possible, has propelled him to the very top of the footballing pyramid. No other player is as complete as him (not even Messi), and we’re not sure if the records that he has set and is continuing to will ever be broken in our lifetime.
The rewards are plenty!
As gifted as he is, the man always made sure that he struck the best deals when it came to money. He also makes a hefty sum from his endorsements and is worth about $500 million as of now.
What do I do with all that money?
This is a question that CR7 often asks himself. He is a judicious lad. Ronaldo’s investments and business ambitions suggest that, but that doesn’t mean he doesn’t indulge himself every now and then.
The Need for speed in life
One of his favorite toys happens to be automobiles. The man used to be a winger who waltzed past defenders with panache. He probably misses doing that now, and he lives vicariously through his cars. The Juventus forward has an insane collection of cars in his garage. We’re going to take a look at five of these beasts in this post.
5. The McLaren Senna
Named after the legendary Ayrton Senna, this car is right up there on the insanity scale. Designed by Robert Melville, the Senna is based on the McLaren 720S and is fitted with a 4.0 L twin-turbo V8. Capable of reaching 60 mph in under 3 seconds and reaching a top speed of 211 mph, McLaren handbuilt just 500 units of this beast, and CR7 decided to get himself one.
4. The Mercedes, a daily rider that can accommodate the family
Whilst it is not a supercar, the fact that Cristiano owns it makes it insane. The Mercedes Benz GLE63s AMG is an elegant SUV and has decent off-roading capabilities too. This athletic Coupé is capable of 450 kW of power and has the power of 612 horses behind the wheel.
3. The Rolls Royce: gang, gang, gangster
The Rolls Royce Cullinan is a car that’s fit for a mob boss. A luxury SUV, this vehicle is capable of conquering the toughest terrains with ease. We wouldn’t dare to take a car with a starting price of 325,000 dollars anywhere rough. Cristiano isn’t limited by our apprehensions, though. This five-door SUV has a front engine and an all-wheel-drive layout. Powered by a 6.75 L V12 engine, the Cullinan is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission and can reach a top speed of 155 mph.
2. The Bugatti, a partnership for the ages
Bugatti and CR7 go way back. Featuring in an advert where he raced a Veyron, the football star has since gone on to own several models of the French brand. It has also been rumored that he even has a Centodieci in his lineup. While that’s unconfirmed, for now, we know that he owns the Chiron. The successor to the Veyron, this car broke the record for the fastest 0–249–0 mph acceleration time way back in 2017. This car is a remarkable piece of engineering, and Ronaldo had to have it.
1. The Ferrari, Italian Beauties are not to be missed!
Is there anyone who can say that they don’t love a Ferrari? Our star isn’t an exception. Buying an F12 Berlinetta in 2017, he can now achieve 18 mpg whenever he decides to take it out for a tour. Mounted with a 6.3 L F140 FC V12 engine, this car can reach a top speed of 211 mph, thereby satisfying his fondness for speed too.
This is an interesting lineup of cars. With these vehicles, CR7 could complete any task that’s thrown at him. The man could own just about anything that he wants to. But he chooses wisely. That’s why he hasn’t blown all of his fortunes on supercars or other objects that depreciate in value. Be like Cristiano, folks.
