Adjoa Andoh is a British actress who has performed leading roles with the Royal Shakespeare Company, the National Theatre, the Royal Court Theatre, and the Almeida Theatre. She made appearances in two seasons of Doctor Who, the long-running BBC hospital drama Casualty, and BBC’s EastEnders.

She made her Hollywood debut in the fall of 2009 as Brenda Mazibuko in Clint Eastwood’s drama film Invictus. She has been playing Lady Danbury in the Netflix period drama Bridgerton since 2020. Andoh was elected as an honorary fellow of the Royal Society of Literature in July 2022.
